Slowly, silently, now the moon..



As I got back from work on the 17th of March, 2014, this beautiful stellar object caught my eye and I couldn’t keep my eyes off it. I don’t how to explain what I find charming about the full moon. Perhaps it is the white, heavenly glow, or the complete rabbit within, or the perfect round shape… I’m only very delighted I managed to click a neat picture of it peeping through the trees, despite streetlamps shining in full glory all around. And that too with my so-so phone camera. Now, that’s something 😉 Watching the night sky makes me happy!

Fun fact: March 16, 2014 was the last of three full moons of the season. It is also called The Worm Moon, for the time of year when robins start to re-emerge from where they spent the cold season, tugging at worms in the thawing ground, indicating the arrival…
