Staying Centered


I discovered something very interesting early this morning. I discovered that I look at my life in a very compartmentalized way. I am a writer, a poet, a spirit intuitive, a proofreader and an editor, a mother, a friend, and myriad other roles. I seem to have slightly different manners of comporting myself and thinking about myself in each circumstance. Yesterday, I had a delightful discussion with a dear friend, gave a distance reading to a woman who needed to hear from her relatives in spirit for guidance, attended the birthday party of my young niece, and enjoyed my role as a mom. I shifted my center to accommodate the situation that I was in. I awoke this morning to the realization that the goal is to be myself in each and every circumstance, to not let the situation dictate who I am, but, instead, to bring my true self…
