The working world is a scary thing for a twenty year old. You don’t really know what you are doing, or you don’t think you know what you’re doing. Everything is new, everything is different, and everyone has more experience than you. Something that I’ve personally learned from my experiences is you need to just get over it.
I remember when I started out as an intern, I was always checking up with my bosses to see if I was doing the right thing, the right way. Eventually, I’m sure they were annoyed because no one in a start-up has time to babysit, they need stuff done quickly and efficiently. Something that one of them said, really stuck to me: “we trust you, you wouldn’t be here if we didn’t”.
