Our fifth installment of art project had us working in three dimensions – with clay!
We spent the first half of the session by making decorative plaques that contain things that we like to represent us. We began by rolling out some of the air drying clay into the base of our plaque, and then using cutters and other modelling tools to create decorations to add to the plaques.

The clay was at times quite fiddly to work with. The clay we used was a special air drying clay, which meant we had to keep it covered with a damp cloth so that it didn’t dry our whilst we were still sculpting.
