Content is king (but distribution is queen as this article points out!)
Love this blog post from Jeff Bullas, blogger, author, strategist and speaker on digital and social media marketing. Found this post through someone I am connected with on LinkedIn while scrolling through my feed this morning, and really likes what Jeff has to say.
As a PR professional I have certainly seen the media world change and evolve, and as Jeff mentions, it’s not just about the big players like WSJ, NY Times, etc., but about the fact that people are now getting their news, information and the content they want from other sources such as blogs and websites… which are beginning to take over rapidly. I believe as more traditional media outlets begin dictating payment requirements to access their content, people will go elsewhere for the information they need quickly and can access for free.
