Blogging about Occupational Safety isn’t always easy. Putting a fun and interesting spin on something that is literally life and death presents a challenge in that
- you want to emphasize the importance of the material, and
- you want to convey what you are saying in a way that makes it interesting and different.
The same challenges can be said for safety meetings and the obstacles safety and training managers face when speaking to a group of industry professionals. At no point do managers want to make light of the importance of OSHA guidelines or lessen the value of something like Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); they want and need to capture interest, creating an enjoyable learning experience that covers an array of topics.
